For me Easter has always marked the true arrival of spring. The vernal equinox has come and gone by now, which means its official. BTW, did you know that on the vernal equinox it’s believed that you should be able to balance an egg on its end? And did you know that the egg is known as the universal symbol of rebirth?
Scientists also note that the shell of the egg is one of nature’s most perfectly engineered protective coverings.
So when you combine colorfully decorated eggs, blooming tulips, and Easter Sunday hats you end up with a cacophony of visuals that can’t help but speak to the time of new birth and the renewal of life.
I came across this article some time ago while researching Easter and spring rituals that really resonated with me so I wanted to share it with all my friends out there in the blogosphere. It’s called 7 Steps to Spring Renewal and I hope you enjoy and put into practice some of the suggestions.
We are serving a delicious Kurobuta ham for brunch and dinner on Easter Sunday at all JFAT locations but whether you join us, or are celebrating privately with your friends and family, our staff all wish you a Happy Easter and hope all the best in whatever you choose for your spring renewal!
